The Maison d Enfants Lalla Hasnaa accommodates babies and children deprived of families, from birth to the age of 6.
Originally situated in the Oasis neighbourhood, the Maison d’Enfants Lalla Hasnaa opened an annex in 2004 in the Polo neighbourhood to accommodate its children with specific needs ( motor and/or mental disabilities ). The residents of the Baouafi centre may live there for the rest of their lives.
Today, the 2 centres count a total of more than 280 residents .
The premises belong to the Ministry of Health, but the Association Al Ihssane is in charge of running the daily operations of both centres .
Oasis Centre
Oasis centre accommodates approximately 200 babies and children from birth to the age of 6. Since 1989, it is also the headquarters of our association.
Baouafi Centre
It is dedicated to our “extraordinaires”, a wonderful name imagined by one of our volunteers while watching over our handicapped residents for over 20 years!
